Hairstyle Inspiration for Summer Festivities
This Tennessee heat is no joke, y’all! These days we are spending all the time we can floating around the pool or on the lake to try and keep cool. With that said, what summer hairstyles are we trying out?! There are several hairstyles we have found on Pinterest that are perfect for days by the water, whether you are spending time on the beach, by the pool or on a boat in the lake, these are great styles to experiment with for the ultimate summer look!
Outdoor activities always lead us to leaning into a braid of some kind. Braids add so much texture and give you an effortlessly adorable look, while also keeping all of your hair in place. Classic french braids are a forever go-to, as are dutch braids to add even more volume and flare to your look. Two braids, a braided ponytail, or just braiding your bangs back can help keep all of your hair back without you having to worry about it!
One super fun trend that has surfaced this season is the use of flower clips! Claw clips have had one of the most amazing comebacks in the past couple of seasons and this summer is getting even more fun. Flower clips are the perfect touch to add a little summer, sunshiney flare to your look. They come in a variety of colors, so you are sure to find one to match your outfits. The array of hairstyles you can create with one of these are endless! We love this half-up, half-down look with loose waves, but you can also use them for a lowkey updo!
These first two looks were more casual, everyday hairstyles so we wanted to throw in a more formal look. For a girls night out or date night, you may want to add a little spice to your hair look. We are swooning over this voluminous bubble ponytail. The sleek front look, mixed with a little fun with the bubble braid aspect make for a stunning look. We could not love this style more!!
