Must Haves for your Prom Clutch

Prom day is fast approaching for many of you girls, and we are here to talk through all the details and make sure you are fully prepared for the best prom ever! While you probably have your dress and accessories picked out by now, you have to make sure you have everything else you may need. We can call it your prom “emergency kit”! 

You have spent months preparing and planning for celebrating at prom with all of your best friends. So, don’t let minor issues ruin your night! Pack a little emergency kit, either in your prom clutch or just a small bag to leave in the car. So, what do you include in your kit?! For starters, definitely extra lipstick and gloss for touch ups! Additionally, throw in some bobby pins and clips, in case you or your bestie has a hair crisis. 

Be sure to throw in a stain remover pen or wipes, in case something gets spilled during dinner on your gown or on your date’s tuxedo. Another good thing to include would be fashion tape. Double sided fashion tape can be a lifesaver when a strap on your gown will not stay in place. Band aids might also be a great item to throw in your kit, too. You never know when you might need one, and all that dancing will probably make your shoes hurt your feet; if that is the case, you will be readily prepared! 

Having a snack on hand is also a good plan! Throw a granola bar or something small in your bag in case you need a little pick-me-up throughout the night. Getting ready for prom can be time consuming, so make sure you take good care of yourself. Hydrate and make sure you eat throughout the day!
