Sherri Hill 58522 Dresses
Sherri Hill 58522 opens with a structured sweetheart corset bodice covered in dense, close-set beading that shifts in the light as the skirt moves. The embellishment fans out from the neckline in arched geometric sections, with the beading thinning gradually toward the waist before ending in a scalloped lower edge where the bodice meets the skirt. Visible boning channels run the full length of the corset, and the back closure follows the same boned construction, keeping the silhouette clean from every angle. We saw this gown on the runway at the Sherri Hill New York Fashion Week show and the way the beaded bodice caught the stage light made the transition between the embellished top and the satin skirt especially sharp.
Below that corset, a full ball gown skirt in smooth, high-lustre satin gathers at the hip and sweeps to the floor with a generous sweep of fabric. The satin has real weight to it, which gives the skirt its full, rounded volume and allows it to move in wide arcs. The photographs show this style in violet silver and blush silver, two very different readings of the same silhouette.
