Sherri Hill 58577 opens with a structured satin corset bodice cut to a sweetheart neckline, where a layer of fine beaded lace traces the curved edge and catches light along the bust. Vertical boning channels run the full length of the torso, and the satin is softly draped at the chest before pulling smooth and flat below, giving the upper half of the gown a precise, architectural finish. The silhouette is strapless and close through the waist, letting the skirt volume do the talking from the hip down.

The skirt is built from dozens of tiered, ruffled layers in a textured black fabric that reads somewhere between lace and organza, tightly gathered so each tier has real dimension and movement. The cut is high-low: voluminous at the sides and back, it sweeps into a long train while the front rises to show the leg from mid-thigh. We saw this piece walk the Sherri Hill runway at NYFW in September 2026 and the skirt has genuine mass and motion in person. The black colourway is the one photographed here.
