Sherri Hill 58905 opens with a pleated halter bodice cut from bright royal blue fabric that gathers softly from a jewel neckline and fans downward in tight vertical folds. That neckline and the wide waistband are both covered in dense, multicolored stone embellishment, with larger accent stones scattered across a bed of smaller beading in red, green, amber, blue and clear tones. The sides are cut away between the bodice and the skirt, so the embellished band wraps the waist as its own structural element, with the beading catching the light from every angle as the gown moves. We saw this piece walk the Sherri Hill runway at New York Fashion Week, and the waistband reads as the clear focal point of the whole design.

Below the waistband, a full ball-gown skirt opens in deep, gathered folds of the same bright royal taffeta-weight fabric, with visible texture and sheen across its surface.
