Fitness Motivation for Summer
The official start of Summer kicks off in just a few days, ladies! We hope your sunny season is off to a fabulous start. One of our favorite things about Summer is the extra time we have to devote to things we love like exercising! Moving your body on a consistent basis is absolutely key to a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to always feel like our best selves, and exercising is such a big piece of that! With all that said, we rounded up several must-haves for your workouts, whether they are at home or in a gym!
Home workouts do not require much equipment, which is super nice and convenient! We would say some essentials would include a yoga mat, a set of dumbbells (your preferred weight), resistance bands, and maybe a kettlebell. There are millions of exercises you can do with these few pieces of equipment which are efficient in space, as well as cost! An absolute must-have is a refillable water bottle to keep you hydrated and refreshed!
A cute workout outfit always works wonders on our motivation level. So, if you are feeling down or in a slump, throw on a cute workout set and get your body moving! Our go-to is typically a cropped tank and leggings outfit with some super cute sneakers. Now is the perfect time to mix bright neon colors to let your outfit boost your mood and your motivation!
If you are having trouble figuring out what exercises to do, what muscles you want to work, etc, we suggest turning to instructional videos on YouTube or on Instagram. You can tailor your search to find what you are wanting to work on and be led through the workout step by step. There are also tons of Instagram accounts from personal trainers that show off various workout moves so there are lots of great resources out there to follow!! Here’s to a happy, healthy Summer!
